Introduction

The Plastic Resins Producers' Group (MPA PRPG) is a product group under the Malaysian Petrochemicals Association (MPA). Membership in PRPG is open to manufacturers of plastic resins in Malaysia. MPA PRPG currently has 10 members.

Objectives

• To promote cooperation amongst the plastic resins producers in Malaysia
• To promote the development of the plastic resins industry in Malaysia by formulating recommendations on investment and export incentives, market protection and other measures
• To promote the interests of the Malaysian plastic resins producers
• To compile and disseminate information of common concern and to provide facilities for consultation and exchange of views between members
• To undertake such activities that will further advance the interest of members in the industry group

Membership

Membership in PRPG is open to manufacturers of plastic resins in Malaysia. Plastic Resins Manufacturers is defined as "Producers of Polymers / Co-Polymers such as PVC, PS, PP, PE, ABS, PET and other thermoplastic or thermosetting resins from raw material obtained from upstream petrochemical companies for use by downstream plastic fabricators.
