Introduction

The Malaysian Plasterboard Manufacturers Group (MPMG) was formed on September 30, 2025 under the aegis of the Federation of Malaysian Manufacturing (FMM). The main objective of FMM MPMG is to represent and promote the interest of Malaysia's plasterboard industry.

Objectives

To represent the interest of the plasterboard manufacturers in the formulation and enforcement of policies, regulations and legislations which affects the industry
To serve as a channel of communication between the plasterboard industry and the Government through dialogues, discussions and meetings
To promote the interests of the Malaysian plasterboard industry through active participation in international exhibitions, symposiums and seminars
To promote, foster and encourage research and development initiatives to drive innovation and improve plasterboard products
To promote sustainable manufacturing practices and the use of eco-friendly materials
To promote the development of industry standards in respect of plasterboard quality and performance
To provide training programs and educational resources for plasterboard manufacturers and industry professionals
To facilitate market research and promote the use of plasterboard in various construction sectors
To promote adherence to safety standards and compliance with local and international regulations
