Introduction
The Malaysian Insulation Manufacturers Group (MIMG) was formed under the aegis of the Federation of Malaysian Manufacturing (FMM). The MIMG is a voluntary not-for-profit organization, comprising of Malaysia's two largest mineral wool insulation manufacturers: ROCKWOOL Malaysia and PGF Insulation.
Objectives
- To promote co-operation amongst the insulation manufacturers in Malaysia
- To promote the development of the insulation industry in Malaysia by formulating recommendations on investment and export incentives, mandatory standards and other measures
- To undertake such activities that will further advance the interest of members and benefit Malaysia in areas of energy conservation and efficiency, fire safety and acoustic performance
- To compile and disseminate information of common interests and to provide facilities for consultation and exchange of views between members
- To promote the interests of the Malaysian insulation industry in the ASEAN context and international context
