Introduction
The FMM Malaysian Ceramic Industry Group (FMM MCIG) was formed nearly 30 years ago and is an industry group operating under the aegis of the Federation of Malaysian Manufacturing (formerly known as Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers). MCIG consist of direct members who are engaged in the manufacture of ceramic products and associate members comprising suppliers that support the ceramic manufacturing industry.
Objectives
- To promote co-operation among the ceramic product manufacturers in Malaysia
- To represent the interest of the ceramic industry in the formulation and enforcement of policies, regulations and legislations which affect the industry
- To serve as a channel of communication between the ceramic industry and the Government through dialogues, discussions and meetings
- To affiliate itself to the Ceramic Industry Clubs of ASEAN and serve as the recognised representative of the ceramic industry of Malaysia
- To promote the interests of Malaysian Ceramic Industry Group through active participation in international exhibitions, symposiums and seminars
- To act as the focal point in trade enquiries on ceramic and related products
