Introduction

The Malaysian Automotive Tyre Manufacturers Industry Group (FMM MATMIG) is an industry group formed under the aegis of Federation of Malaysian Manufacturing (formerly known as Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers) to promote the development and interest of the automotive tyre manufacturing industry in Malaysia.

Objectives

• To promote the development of the automotive tyre industry in Malaysia by formulating recommendations on investment and export incentives, market protection and other measures
• To promote the interest of Malaysian automotive tyre industry in the ASEAN context, through active participation in the activities of the ASEAN-CCI as well as in the industrialized and developing countries
• To compile and disseminate information of common concern and to provide facilities for consultation and exchange of views between members
• To undertake such activities that will further advance the interest of members in the industry group
