Introduction

The ASEAN Oleochemical Manufacturers Group (AOMG) is to represent the oleochemical industry. It also seeks to promote the formation of reliable and responsible production of Oleochemical without prejudicing normal competition between companies and countries.

The trade routes have ensured that the ASEAN region has been on the map for several centuries. Today, bulk and containerised shipping ensure that the products from ASEAN have access to all parts of the globe putting the ASEAN producers into contact with their customers wherever they may be.

Objectives

To promote cooperation and coordination among the oleochemical manufacturers in ASEAN region
To initiate, encourage and coordinate the preparation and implementation of programmes, plans and projects that will accelerate and harmonise the growth and progress of the oleochemical industry in ASEAN region
To promote closer relations and cooperation between the oleochemical manufacturers in the region with other national, regional and international organizations with similar aims and objectives
To formulate and develop recommendations on measures to encourage the development of application of oleochemical products in the region
To compile disseminate information of common concern as well as provide facilities for consultation and exchange of views between and amongst members
