during Movement Control Order (MCO)

Following the announcement by YAB Prime Minister on the further extension of Movement ControlOrder (MCO) to April 28, 2020, the Royal Malaysian Customs Department (RMCD)has extended the deadline for payment of sales and services tax and other Customs related levies to May 13, 2020.All penalties on payment which receive before May 13, 2020 will be given full remittance. Online payment or postal service is highly encouraged. The remittance of penalties on payment includes on the following:

i.       Sales Tax or Service Tax via SST-02 TaxReturn

ii.      Imported Service Tax via SST-02A Form

iii.     Tourism Tax via TTx-03 Tax Return

iv.     Departure Levy via DL-02 Tax Return

This decisionis specifically applies to taxable period ending as follows: -
